Miss Universe 2012 will be the 61st Miss Universe pageant. Leila Lopes from Angola will crown her successor at the end of the event. The pageant will be broadcast live on NBC and simulcast on Telemundo and Xbox Live

Miss Earth 2012, the 12th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, is scheduled to be held at Coral Theater in Ninh Thuan, Vietnam in December, 2012. ^{Miss Earth 2011, Olga Álava from Ecuador, will crown her successor at the end of the event}
