Miss Ecuador 2013

22-year old Constanza Baez Jalil, from Pichincha, was chosen Miss Ecuador 2013 during the annual event held at the Civic Theater in Guayaquil on March 8th.
Constanza, who stands 175 cm in height, is a student of economics and will represent Ecuador during the Miss Universe 2013 competition which has no definite venue or date at the moment.
Nataly Arroba from Guayas was crowned Miss Ecuador International and will compete in the 2013 Miss International pageant scheduled for October in a venue to be announced soon.
Giuliana Villavicencio was chosen Miss Ecuador Supranational, and will travel to Minsk (Belarus) to compete in the Miss Supranational 2013 finals on September 6th. She was crowned by Sulay Castillo, 4th runner-up of Miss Supranational 2012.
Eliana Molina was the 1st runner-up, Ena Cordova was 2nd runner-up and Maria Claudia Morales was the 3rd runner-up.
The pageant was telecast live through Gama TV. 15 contestants took part in this year’s edition. Former Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez was among the judges.
The Miss Ecuador competition no longer holds the rights to send a contestant to the Miss World pageant; a new competition will take place in the following months.
